These terms govern use of Dunbar, operated by Story Ventures. By texting Dunbar or connecting an account, you agree to them.
The service
Dunbar is a relationship memory service reached by text message and email. It is in beta. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued.
Your responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 and the holder of the phone number and email address you use.
- You are responsible for what you send to Dunbar and for every message you choose to send to others, including drafts Dunbar prepares.
- Do not use Dunbar to harass, spam, or deceive anyone, or to process another person’s information in a way they would object to.
Messages
By texting Dunbar you consent to receive messages from it. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop all messages; reply again to resume.
Your content
You own what you tell Dunbar. You grant us the right to store and process it solely to provide the service. You can delete it at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
Dunbar is provided as is. It may be wrong about dates, facts, or people. Check before you act on anything it tells you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Story Ventures is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of Dunbar, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding twelve months.
Termination
You may stop using Dunbar at any time by asking it to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
